台湾海峡西部冬季余流的时空变化

The spatio-temporal variation of wintertime subtidal currents in the western Taiwan Strait

  • 摘要: 本研究利用一组新的船载ADCP和3个持续40天的锚系ADCP观测数据,揭示冬季台湾海峡西部潮流及余流时空变化特征。结果表明M2分潮流在25°N以北位置确实存在等潮时线密集区,而该分潮流在研究海域内并不存在圆流点。此外,在余流方面,研究表明在冬季风松弛阶段,逆风流能够穿越整个海峡西部,并占据整条水柱;然而在2007年两次季风盛行事件下,上述逆风流在同样位置却完全被顺风的中国沿岸流所阻断,相应地中国沿岸水南下占据整个海峡西部。最重要的是本研究发现上述两支海流在海峡西部的时空变化特征可采用矢量经验正交函数(VEOF)对应的前两个模态进行解析:即第一模态对应的风驱准正压流起主导作用,而第二模态对应的相对较弱的一阶背景斜压流起调制作用。
